Simple Beauty Routine

Here is little round-up my current makeup routine. As you will see I am a complete Westman Atelier fangirl. Her formulations are so thoughtful in the ingredients, application, and the beautiful luxe packaging is a bonus. This routine can take me less than 10 minute and I feel polished and put together for everyday.

FOUNDATION | CONCEALER | POWDER

After skincare, I apply a few drops of Westman Atelier Vital Skincare Dewy Foundation Drops. They are beautiful to apply, cover any redness and skin looks natural and glowing. I use the Merit Complexion Concealer Stick as a concealer for any imperfections on the face and the YSL Touche Eclat in 2.5 to brighten the under eyes. For powder, I use the Westman Atelier Vital Pressed Powder in Translucent in the areas that I want to take away any excess shine.

BRONZER | BLUSH | HIGHLIGHTER

For natural contouring, I start with the Face Trace Contour Stick in Biscuit and add to the cheekbones and nose. I then blend it all in with a brush dipped in the ROSE INC Cream Bronzer in Kauai and add a swipe of the Baby Cheeks Blush in Mimi, a tawny beige, to enhance the soft bronzy glow.

For a lit-within-glow, I rave about the Westman Atelier Super Loaded Tinter Highlighter in Peau de Peche. This is a unique treatment-packed cream product that effortlessly blends into the cheekbones and upwards. I think of it as a blush-topper/highlighter that sets off the whole makeup look with a luminous finish. This also doubles as an everyday eyelid color.

For the final steps, I use the tiniest dab of Baby Cheeks in Poppet, a vibrant hot pink. In the tube, the color looks very bright, but adding just a touch brightens your whole face. (I have gotten so many people hooked on this!)

If I want even a little more highlight, I use the Lit Up Glow Highlight Stick in Parla , a glassy oyster pearl. This is easy to apply on cheekbone, brow bones, and bridge of the nose.

EYES AND BROWS

For brows, I lightly fill in any spots for a little more definition with the Brow Wiz in Taupe, and brush up.

For an everyday eye, I usually just do a light swipe of the cream bronzer with the Super Loaded Tinted Highlighter tapped onto the lid.

If I want to add a little more oomph in the evening I will then add a little of the Eye Pod Shadow in Tabac, a warm bronzy shade. It is the most beautiful shade that complements and brings out the eyes.

After I will use this Liquid Eyeliner Pen in Brown to elongate the top lash line and this Pencil Liner in Brown to the inner lash line. A good curl to the lashes and a coat of mascara and done! I just added this new Volumizing Tubing Mascara to my routine after trying it at an event. It gives great volume and the best part is, it washes off with warm water at the end of the night because of the tubing technology.

LIPS

After a long beloved lip liner was discontinued, I had been a search for a good one to replace it for years. After trying many different ones, I have found one that I love which is Rare Beauty Lip Liner in Talented, a true neutral beige. I buy multiple at a time and have one in each handbag, I usually blend this in with lip balm and call it a day. If I do add a gloss, I really like the Hydrating Lip Balm in Nana.
