All About the Eyes

YSL Shocking Faux Cils Mascara($30)

My all around favorite for years. When it comes to lashes, I like full on drama! This gives your lashes the fullest, most voluminous, darkest lashes. Not for the faint of heart. Something about the texture of the mascara coats your lashes and makes them luscious, never dry or brittle. It doesn't get more chic than this with its gorgeous gold packaging and did I mention it smells of roses?

Yes, a little pricey for a mascara, but be warned, once you have seen the results, it will be hard to go back to anything else!

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner in Black Ink($22) This is great for when you really want to be able to control and define the line on the lashes. If you’re unfamiliar with using a brush-on liner, it may take a little practice to get used to, but trust me the results are worth the extra effort.

Sephora Airbrush Pro Angle Brush #22($16) My brush of choice to use with gel eyeliners

.Lancome Artliner in Noir($29.50) A longtime staple in my makeup bag, great for easy on the go liner with a user-friendly pen.

Chanel Illusion d’Ombre eyeshadows($36) This is a fairly new product for Chanel and it has already become a favorite among makeup artists. Its unique mousse-like texture allows the shadow to glide on and not budge. I use the soft shimmery peach shade in Emerveille every single day. It is gorgeous alone and perfect for layering under shadows. I love the shade Mirifique for a smoky eye. Check out the collection for a variety of truly original and stunning colors.

Kevyn Aucoin Eyelash Curler($20) Since the Shu Uemura eyelash curler is no longer available in the US (how could they have done this to us?), I had to go on the search for a worthy replacement. And while I still can’t say I have found “the one”, this curler does a good job and is the best I have found so far.
