So Hot Right Nail
Nail art is everywhere right now, especially in Los Angeles. Salons have Instagrams and Tumblrs showcasing their intricate and artistic nail designs. I decided to try out the trend and see what I thought. I had heard the buzz surrounding nail artist Bel Fountain Townsend of So Hot Right Nail and booked an appointment with her. I decided on a peach and gold theme and she drew out a detailed picture of what would be on each nail using decals, gems, and glitter. Overall, the process took a little over an hour. She used gel nail polishes and a LED light that dries each coat in 10 seconds. After a base coat and a layer of the peach polish, she added the decals and would finish with a top coat. She was extremely detail-oriented and really secured each nail design. The end result was a set of gorgeous, glamorous nails that she said should last about 2 weeks. They do take a little getting used to and I would probably save getting them for special occasions. I highly recommend Bel as she is talented, creative and very reasonably priced.
