Le Maquillage de Francais
Paris Fashion Week may be coming to an end, but lately I have been all about the French look: red lip and black liner.
For the face: A simple contour using Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate in Intensity One, (for a powder option: try Kevyn Aucoin Sculpting Powder or just use your regular bronzer) along with some simple highlighting with YSL Touche Eclat.
For the Eyes: I have still been loving Laura Mercier Eyeshadow in Baroque (or use your bronzer shade lightly in the crease for depth) along with a black winged line (For gel liner: YSL Longwear Liner or I like the easiness of the new Marc Jacobs Magic Marc'er Precisio Pen, more on this soon.)
For Lips: I use Clinique Chubbystick Intense in Mightiest Maraschino. If you are not a red lip wearer, then you should definitely try this out, the color is so flattering and wearable as opposed to some of the in-your-face reds. For extra sheen, I have been putting a slick of RMS Beauty Lip Shine in Sacred on top.
For Nails: To complete the look, Essie's Fall 2013 nail color in Twin Sweater Set (see the last post for swatch).
