More Sunshine means more skin, hence my relying on some major bronzing products as of late. I have to preface my reviews with the fact that I LOVE bronzers, whether that means bronzing powders, creams, primers, lotions, or oils. When I say I have tried them all, I really have. Now I must digress onto my favorites and yes, that's a mini pineapple.
African Botanics Marula Oil ($80) | This is obviously not a bronzing product, but a gorgeous skincare oil. I usually use this in the drier months, but lately I have been adding a drop of this to my lighter moisturizer when I want a little boost. At night, I will put this down my neck and decolletage. It can be used on the body as well as the hair. This is one of those beautiful oils that feels nourishing and soothing, a treat for your skin.
By Terry Soleil Terrybly Hydra Serum ($93) | Coined as a "self-radiant serum, it activates and extends a tan, offers sheer correction and age defense." Basically it is a tinted serum with skincare benefits and it is quite divine. I personally like it because it takes the pale edge off my always sunscreened face. I see this as a nice option for people who don't want to wear a lot of makeup, but want a little bit of color. If I am having a makeup-free day, I will spread a little bit of this over my moisturized face and enjoy its skin benefits. This serum won't be for everyone as it is quite pricey, but it is a unique product.
Hourglass Ambient Bronzer ($50) | I continue to be impressed with makeup brands constantly coming up with new and innovative formulas, Hourglass is one of those always ahead of the curb. Besides being formulated without parabens, the quality of their new finely milled bronzer hits all the marks. It is beautiful buildable bronze -- for a light dusting or an intensified look. I do a final mist of a facial spray for the ultimate dew factor.
