Tried & True Beauty Products
I try out so many beauty products, that when I fully use up one or repurchase I know it's a keeper. These are some tried and true products that I always like to have in my beauty arsenal.
Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream | Yes this has a hefty price tag, but I have repurchased this and I especially love it in the travel size above. Something about this formula makes for the perfect pre-makeup base. After massaging into the skin, I allow to sink in for a few minutes before I continue on with the product below.
Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow Primer | When I first started using this, I wasn't over the moon, until I continued to use it. It has a unique texture that settles into skin, blurs imperfections, and adds a subtle glow. Sometimes I wear this even on no makeup days.
Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer | This is by far my most repurchased product of all time! I have been using this since high school and I really cannot be without it. The nonslip texture is great for covering up blemishes or any discoloration. The genius of having two colors in a small palette, allows you to mix and match your skin that day .
Chanel Le Volume Mascara | I have repurchased this mascara several times. The gel like formula allows you to layer the product without it getting clumpy. I also think the wand really gets into the root of lashes for a lifting effect.
Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler | Ever since these have stopped selling in store the US, I have been ordering them online. You don't need to replace these often, but I find this is the best eyelash curler for my eye shape. No wonder it is an absolute staple in makeup artist's kits.
Nudestix Lip + Cheek Pencil in Whisper | The ultimate nude. I consider myself somewhat of a nude lipstick connosseuir, I bough this when the line was first introduced at Sephora and never looked back. I always have to have this in my makeup bag, as its nice to layer over another color you may want to tone down or beautiful just on it's own. You can use without a lipliner if you want and the easy pencil form is great.
It Cosmetics Lip Liner in Buff Nude | My favorite lip liner of all time. Nothing else compares! Recently, while on vacation, I had a bit of a crisis when I realized I had forgotten this and had to pick up another random one. NOT THE SAME! It is long lasting, the perfect color (not too warm or cool), and nothing really comes close to comparing in my mind.
