With quite a few blogging years under my belt, I don't think I have ever delved deep into my skincare routine. I love trying new products but I thought I would share my tried and true daily rituals.

THE ROUTINE

Cleanse

Depending on how my skin is feeling, I will use iS Clinical Cleansing Complex, a glycolic cleansing gel that removes dead skin cells and impurities from the skin effectively, while feeling very gentle and soothing at the same time. I use AM and PM, a must-have for me. If skin is feeling more oily and spot-prone, I use Control Correctives Salicylic Acid Cleanser.

Day Treatment

f skin is normal, I use iS Clinical Serum Pro Heal which has antioxidant protection, helps fight skin conditions such as rosacea or cystic acne, and the vitamin C combats uneven skin tone.

If skin is majorly dry, I have been loving Omorovicza Miracle Facial Oil. It is divine! It has a finer texture than other oils, that allows it to sink deeply into the skin, leaving the skin radiant, not oily. This is sure to be a winter favorite.

Moisturize

I use Control Correctives Oil-Free Healing Lotion with Control Correctives Sunscreen SPF 30 on top.

Night Treatment

After Cleansing, I will use Resurface by Shani Darden, a retinol treatment that is effective at keeping skin clear while reducing fine lines and wrinkles. If skin is acting up, I layer with iS Clinical Active Serum. If skin is having texture issues, I may use Sunday Riley Sleeping Night Oil, a retinoid oil that instantly helps break down surface bumps.

Treatments

I get facials every 6 weeks with fabulous facialist, Shani Darden. Google her and see she is one of LA’s most trusted facialists to many of Hollywoods most beautiful. She is no nonsense and literally changed my skin when I moved to Los Angeles. She also happens to be a wonderful person and friend. I am personally so excited as she has collaborated with NuFace to create her curated collection, Haute Contour. It includes a NuFace Trinity Device, which uses micro current technology to pulse skin, to improve wrinkles, contour, and skin tone. I have been regularly using this for a few months and I can tell such a difference in my skin. I am a forehead frowner, so I have specifically been using there as well as around my mouth.
