Desert Festival Essentials

I am headed to the desert this weekend! I am a little anxious but excited, so I have been on a mad hunt for everything I need for Coachella.  First up, here is a breakdown of must-have beauty essentials.

The Breakdown

Cane & Austin SPF 50 Mattifying Primer SPF 50 | Obviously with the hot desert sun, you have to be protecting your skin. I apply my daily sunscreen and then a layer of this Mattifying Primer on top. I really love this, it blurs imperfections, smooths any dry patches, all while controlling shine. Plus the added SPF is a bonus.

Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer in St. Moritz SPF 30 | I have re-fallen in love with this. I love the color because it is slightly darker than my face, but matches my body, so it gives hint of a tan. It is the definition of radiant skin.

RMS Beauty Living Luminizer | A favorite for adding a natural pearly highlight right where you want it: top of the cheekbones, center of the nose, and the cupids bow.

Grown Alchemist Hydra Mist + Desert Lime & Amino Peptide | After a long day in the sun, a face mist refreshes makeup and gives you a little boost.

Palermo Enlivening Aromatherapy Oil | Whether you spend all day at the festival or just need an afternoon pick me up, I am obsessed with this Aromatherapy Oil. The combination of grapefruit, lemongrass, and tea tree are an instant pick me up! Plus Palermo makes their products in small batches using holistic natural ingredients and you can really tell the quality.

Hurraw! Coconut Lip Balm | I first discovered these lip balms at The Detox Market in Los Angeles. These super creamy, organic, vegan lip balms are so yummy and designed in a slim oval packaging to fit in your jeans without melting. Plus they are about 5 dollars! Hello, perfect for Coachella! Your girlfriends as well as guy friends will be trying to steal.

Aesop Rinse Free Hand Sanitizer | This is my favorite hand sanitizer in general but especially for long days at the festival, including portable bathrooms. An absolute must have.

Herban Essentials Eucalyptus Towelettes | This individually wrapped towelettes are great whether you need to wipe down your phone or for sticky hands after eating. Trust me, you can slip in your back pocket or wallet and then throw away.

A Bandana | For those unpredictable dust storms that doubles as a cute accessory. Win Win. Urban Outfitters has a great selection.

Sunglasses | To protect your eyes and to complete your outfit. Ray-Ban Aviators for me!
