The Winter Candle Edit
Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a nice holiday celebrating and welcoming in 2019. I have to say I am usually ready to immediately take down the holiday decorations, but my house feels so festive, I am a little sad to put it all away. Luckily I can still make some fires and burn my winter candles to keep the cozy vibes still going. Lately, I like burning a couple of candles together to create a custom scent. The Diptyque Ambre candle is warming, subtly sweet and spiced, while the Jenni Kayne Ash candle has more woodsy, balsam notes. Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir candle is always a winter staple, as is the Space NK Shimmery Spice candle which comes back season after season. Finally, Cire Trudon is the ultimate in luxury candles, with their history spanning back to 1643 and the courts of Louis the 15th. The fragrances are unlike anything else and the glass vessel is hand blown, which makes for a beautiful vase after it has burned, so it truly is the gift that keeps on giving.
