Summer Things I Have My Eye On
As it’s inching closer and closer to summer, I have started to eye some new arrivals starting to pop up. These are some of the things on my list!
CLOTHING + ACCESSORIES
I have been on the hunt for a neutral linen blazer to throw over a t-shirt and jeans or a slip dress. I like this version from Tibi because it’s oversized and the biscotti color will look great with a white T-Shirt.
As for accessories, Staud is stepping up their game with their latest bags. I originally got one of their popular clear versions, but I wish I had waited and got this cream croc-effect tote above (it also comes in Camel.)
I am still lusting over these simple and perfect Manolo strappy sandals. They would be perfect for a wedding I am going to this summer. Manolo Blahnik has really become my favorite shoe brand of all time. They are well made, timeless, and comfortable.
Over the years , I have invested in a couple Janessa Leone hats. They are one of my summer staples. I recently discovered a new hat brand called Clyde. I like this simple panama straw hat style.
BEAUTY
After spying new brand Henry Rose , I am desperate to get my hands on a bottle. It was created by Michelle Pfeiffer and is the first fine fragrance to be EWG verified. (EWG is the Environmental Working Group, a nonprofit organization that specializes in the research and advocacy of toxic chemicals, water pollutants, and agricultural subsidies. They also have a rating system for personal care products that help people identify safe products.) Fragrances are notorious for not disclosing their ingredients, they can be made up of 4,000 stock chemicals.
Henry Rose discloses 100% pf their ingredients, as well as the bottle being made from 90% recycled materials, a soy cap, and is 100% recyclable. I am drawn to their fragrance Torn, which is described as “the richness of vanilla bean blends with the earthiness of vetiver roots to create an aroma that’s both spicy and floral.”
A longtime favorite of mine is the creamy highlighter, RMS Beauty Living Luminizer. they have a champagne rose version I want to try now that I have run out of mine! They are clean beauty brand.
