October at Home

This time of year always makes me want to cozy up the home! As it gets darker earlier, the candles start to come out, as well as layering pieces such as velvet pillows and soft blankets.

I recently ordered a bigger version of this rug for the living room. I love the combination of jute and boucle because it is durable enough to be in high traffic areas but also has some softness underfoot.

After smelling this Cire Trudon candle in a Napa gift shop, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. It is the ultimate beeswax scented candle described as having notes of bergamot, waxed wood, and honey. This will definitely be making an appearance at home as we get deeper into fall!

Finally, Rose Uniacke’s long-awaited debut book is coming out at the end of the month. She has the most incredible grandiose nineteenth-century London home and I cannot wait to see a more in-depth look. This video from a few years ago gives a beautiful sense of the home, I have watched it many times!
