Burberry Prorsum Spring 2014 Ready to Wear
I am always excited to see what iconic British brand Burberry has in store and this year was no exception. Christopher Bailey's designs were everything and more you want in a Spring collection: florals and lace, cashmere knits and sheer organza shirts, layered with simple, modern coats. The show was all about color in heavenly shades of rose, mint, ballet pink, lavender, and soft hydrangea blue. The makeup encapsulated the quintessential English Rose beauty, using Burberry Makeup's new Spring Rose Pink Palette on the eyes, while lips were left nude with new lipstick in Trench Kiss. Hair was sexy and understated with a messy blow-out.
The show felt light, airy, and romantic. The last moments of the show were picture perfect, as the models did their final walk under a cascade of pink rose petals.
Harry Styles in the front row didn't hurt either, wearing leopard print at that.
