Tom Ford Spring 2014 Ready to Wear
Fact: Tom Ford is sexy. Not only the man himself, that's a given, but his latest Spring 2014 Ready to Wear collection. His designs were body-conscious and powerful, as if the clothes themselves were breathily whispering, "Come Hither."
The models strutted the polished runway through mirrored walls, draped in yards of sheer spidery lace and leathers galore, in tightly belted pant suits and paillette-adorned mini dresses, and if that didn’t have you, a luxurious fur or two.
The hair and makeup was inspired by the looks of Margaux Hemingway and Brooke Shields. Orlando Pita created the tousled and undone updos using Schwarzkopf Osis+ Dust It Mattifying Powder to give volume and texture. Makeup artist, Charlotte Tilbury, created the minimal, nude, bronzed look using Tom Ford beauty products. Skin was flawless with a slight sheen using the Traceless Foundation Stick topped with Bronzing Powder in Terra. Brows were strong using the Brow Sculptor, while lips were kept soft and natural in Lip Shine in Bare.
After last night's show, one thing is clear, Tom Ford continues his reign as the King of Glamour.
