Current Obsessions & Summer Forecast
I know it is way too early to even be uttering the word "Summer," when Spring hasn't arrived, but it it has been on my mind ever since I received these fashion magazines all the way from Australia. And I may or may not be basking in some glorious 75 degree California winter sunshine as we speak (don't hate me,) but lately I have been obsessing over a few favorite things.
Blues: On the January issues of Australian Vogue and Harper's Bazaar, my ultimate girl crushes: Gisele and Rosie are wearing the most gorgeous shades of steely, sapphire, arctic pale blues and I am officially obsessed. Blue blog post: Coming Soon.
Monograms: This gorgeous Clare Vivier pouch stamped with my initials was a special birthday present from my beauty of a sister (see here.) It is the perfect size to throw in a credit card, some cash, a lipstick, and other essentials.
White Nail Polish: Last summer, I only wore white gels for the entire time! I love that they are a modern neutral, a little more exciting than a nude, and still go with everything. Lately I am loving this CND VinylLux Weekly Polish in Cream Puff, that goes on so easy and lasts longer than a regular mani.
Republique: This only applies to us Angelenos, but Republique is a new hyped about restaurant on La Brea. I had gone there for dinner and enjoyed it, but I recently discovered it serves breakfast all day. Hello Brioche French Toast and Eggs on Toast with Broccoli and Cheddar! It was so delicious. I also got their Golden Juice (yellow carrot, pineapple, golden beet, orange juice) and I cannot stop thinking about it. Highly Recommend.
