La Mer Skincare

Cooler temps, indoor heating = dry skin.  It is has actually gotten "cold" in Los Angeles and I can already feel my skin changing. I thought now would be a good time to discuss my thoughts on La Mer, a cult beauty product with a big following. I recently attended their underwater-themed Icon Event.  It was a great party with an even greater gift bag! I have been trying and noting these products for the last few weeks.

La Mer Moisturizing Cream ($85) | I have tried this in the past. It is an extremely thick cream, that you take a dime sized amount of and warm in between your hands and pat onto skin. It is extremely moisturizing and a nice base for makeup. I prefer their soft cream which is a little lighter. The original is good for dry and mature skin.

La Mer the Renewal Oil ($240) | I love an oil. If you haven't tried one yet, you are missing out. Don't be afraid of them as oil cancels out oil, it treats the skin in a deeper way. I wanted to be wowed with this, just for the price tag alone. It is a lovely oil, imparts radiance, and doesn't leave any sticky residue. This is a splurge of the highest order.

La Mer Lip Balm ($55) | My favorite! A luxe lip balm for sure, but it long lasting and smoothing. I love the vanilla mint scent.

All in all, their packaging and product is pure luxury. Next on my list from them : The Reparative Tint, Hydrating Facial Cloth Masks, and The Radiant Concealer.
