Under the Orange Groves

On a sunny and beautiful winter's day, my beautiful sister, Kelsey, and I ventured out to a quintessential Southern California orange grove. I had been obsessed with the idea of shooting in an orange grove, and had been researching everywhere and beyond of where to go. Once I saw this beautiful golden poppy print dress from Flynn Skye (available here, here, and here) and the crochet romper from ASTR (available here), I knew the two outfits were destined to be together, and that this San Fernando Valley grove was the perfect location. Perhaps you are new to my blog or are a frequent visitor, but I am proud to say that it is Kelsey who most often shoots my photo stories, and it has been an amazing experience over the last few years to collaborate with her and watch how the site has grown. Kelsey is the person I check in with a hundred times a day, asking her opinion on everything - from outfit choices, locations, to new blog posts, and she is the one I trust the most on all things Caitlin Confidential. I love that she is finally in a shoot with me. It won't be the last!
