All About the Glow

It is all about the highlight if you haven't noticed. Highlighting is the new contour and I am all about it. I don't believe in matte skin, it isn't natural, the glowier the better in my book. I love to prep my skin after moisturizer with Charlotte Tilbury's Wonder Glow. The science behind this is there is a fluorescent core that converts UV light into skin luminosity. It really gives skin a soft focus effect, blurs imperfections, makes makeup last and creates that lit from within look. I put this on even if I am not wearing foundation that day. 

If I want to amp it up a notch, I have been turning to the newest addition to my makeup bag, Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Compact in Champagne Pop. This is a universally flattering peachy golden highlight that adds instant cheekbones. I have been a long time fan of Becca's highlights and this one is a beautiful addition. Using a fan brush, buff onto the top of cheeks, down the bridge of the nose, and the cupids bow. I have even been brushing on my collarbones for that extra oomph.
