The Palm Springs Diaries

This past weekend,  it was my sister's birthday and we decided it was the perfect excuse to split from Los Angeles and head south to Palm Springs.  Once a playground for hollywood's biggest movie stars, think Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley, it's an easy 90 minute trip to the heat of the desert.  We decided on The Parker, a mid century modern lover's paradise.  A great location to hang poolside with a few of the Parker's famous frozen lemonades, it has a perfect mix of kitsch and class. When in Palm Springs, some musts include a stop for a date shake at Hadleys off the interstate 10, breakfast at Cheeky's, a Palm Springs Modern Home Tour, a tram ride down Mount San Jacinto, a deep tissue massage at the Parker Spa, and a trip to their lemonade stand!
