A Few Winter Notes...

With the dryer months, I have been incorporating some oils into my routine. I am loving these beautifully crafted oils from Monastery Made. I like to use the Pure Oil on a regular basis because it has antibacterial properties, and the Gold Oil when skin in feeling extra dry.
It was my Mom's birthday this last week, so my sister and I took her for breakfast at Gjelina, a must if you find yourself in Venice. Don't skip the ricotta pancakes!
We also stopped by the newly renovated Surfrider Hotel in Malibu. It was originally opened in 1953. The husband and wife design team have done an impeccable job of keeping the charm of the casual hotel with some modern, rustic updates.
The aesthetic is right up my alley as it incorporates lots of white linens, raffia, and green botanicals. Rates are very reasonable, especially when you are a skip and a jump away from the ocean!
The best part about the Surfrider Hotel is the rooftop overlooking the Pacific Ocean's salty waters dotted with surfers. There you can order a cocktail or carnitas tacos. I definitely want to have a celebration of some sort there!
Side Note: I am loving these boots by Ugg! Aren't they a cute upgrade to the standard Uggs?
My obsession with all things cozy and fuzzy continues with these Jenni Kayne slippers. They were sold out for months and are finally back in stock! A winter must-have.
