October Mood
It’s October. It’s below 75 degrees. I am wearing a sweater. A mustard sweater no less, which brings me to the topic of trends.
Each season there are new fashion trends that seem to explode everywhere : fashion magazines, social media, street style. I don’t pay much attention usually, mostly because they are too cool for me i.e. “Dad shoes,” the oversized designer sneakers that look straight out of the 80’s. But sometimes its fun to dapple now and again. Personally, I don’t want to spend a lot of money when it comes to these types of pieces. I prefer to spend more when it comes to jeans, cashmere sweaters, or a timeless pair of shoes.
Having said all that, the sea of mustard-colored clothing at every store finally hypnotized me into submission and I picked up this chunky knit from Zara. It is super soft and pairs well with this Mango chestnut brown bag that I have find myself carrying everyday. These boots are on the extreme end for me, but they worked well with the outfit so I couldn’t resist.
