Is this face oil worth the price?

If you haven’t heard of Vintner’s Daughter, it has rocked the beauty world with it’s rave reviews and accolades. It is a serum made up of 22 active botanical ingredients and is described as “multi-correctional” by founder, April Gargiulo. It delivers nutrition to the skin to make it balanced and I kept reading how it was a miracle worker. The thing that really intrigued me was how it worked on acneic skin. I like to use lightweight products, so I was slightly apprehensive, but wanted to see what all the fuss is about.

When I first opened the product, I noticed right away the beautiful golden hue of this oil, as well as the intoxicating natural scent. I quickly realized it was less of a typical oil, but more of a quick drying treatment. I warmed a few drops in the palm of my hands and pat onto the face and neck. It quickly soaks into the skin and feels nice and soothing.

At first, I was using too infrequently to notice any life-changing results. It was when I was traveling in the Berkshires and my skin started to react. It all of sudden had become dry and slightly peeling, possibly because of a new environment or the local water. The only oil I had brought was the Vintner’s Daughter. I started using day and night and seeing instant results. Besides healing the problem, I started noticing the texture of my skin had never looked better. I would wake up and feel like I barely needed makeup, something I don’t often say.

The price of this oil is hard to swallow - $185. If I am making an argument for that price - they are using good, pure ingredients, not a load of fillers that bulk up the amount, hence it being so potent. You also need a few drops, I have barely made a dent in my bottle, so I think it will last a long time. Instead of a few steps, I find this is the only thing I need in terms of treatment and hydration. Lastly, if you’re still unsure, they have just released a travel-sized bottle for $55, which would give you a chance to try it out before investing further. I really love this oil and can’t imagine not having it in my skincare arsenal.
