Things of Note

I have been traveling on the East Coast, but I thought I would mention a few things I have been loving. I have to admit that summer dressing has felt a bit monotonous, bring on the fall fashion. I have been sticking to a uniform of simple dresses, my white denim jacket, and sneakers. I love this dress from Australian brand, With Jean. I love the lemon color and ruffled bodice top. All of their pieces are so sweet! 

I have fallen back in love with products. I had gotten into a routine where I  was using the same things, which was fine, but it has been fun to change it up. I got to work with Space NK on their summer event, which gave me the opportunity to try some new things. I have almost emptied an entire bottle of Tata Harper’s Resurfacing Serum. It combines AHA’s and BHA’s to get rid of dead skin and bring a glow back and it really does. I also having been trying the infamous Vitner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum. It is a facial oil made up of 22 active botanical ingredients.With travel, my skin has been feeling drier than usual and I have been using this daily. My skin has been drinking it up! 

I have been having a real thing for brown tones lately, maybe it has struck me as we edge more and more towards Fall. I love layering shades of  desert sand, tan, cocoa, and chestnut. I have been getting a lot of use of this Theory silk camisole lately. 

The Tasting Kitchen in Venice has become on of my favorite go-to spots for dinner. It is an open air loft with exposed brick and twisting olive trees. It has great cocktails and food, and a nice ambiance. I highly suggest if you’re in the area. 

Elephante is the new hot spot in Santa Monica. I have only gone their for drinks, so would like to go back to try the food. But Santa Monica needed a place like this and it’s definitely a fun place to meet up and get a drink!
