Travel Essentials
While planning for some upcoming trips, I was re-assessing my travel essentials. Over the years, I have paired down what I actually need while in flight, with the right amount of things to make me feel comfortable. I like everything to fit in my tote without being too heavy or burdensome. Here are a few of my must-haves!
In my cosmetic bag, I like to always have a hand sanitizer and lately I have been loving carrying these Herban Essential Oil Wipes, as well. I especially love the orange and peppermint scents. For shorter flights, I find I just usually use a face mist, lip balm, and sometimes will tap a hydrating balm around any dry areas like my eyes or cuticles. I like Weleda’s Skin Food Nourishing Cream for this, as it is a good all-rounder. I pick up the travel sizes at Whole Foods.)
A few other must-haves include : book or magazine, phone charger (sometimes an extra charged battery), earphones, and a notebook and pen. I love to have my own cozy throw, as I am always freezing and a good pair of socks. At the airport, I like get a bottle of water and a snack.
I like to keep everything in pouches so it stays organized and if I need to reach something easily I can find it. Muji is the best place for anything travel related. They have endless options for travel-sized containers, clear pouches, passport holders, etc.
