Autumn Transition

The time of year where you need an extra layer but the sun is still out and it’s not quite time to put your summer wardrobe completely away. I like to mix and match, in this case: a lightweight knit with linen pants.

Two things I am loving for this fall are oversized shapes and trousers. This cozy, affordable knit is so soft, and the oversized fit of it gives a cooler, more nonchalant look. It also looks lovely open and over a camisole. Trousers are everywhere and I can’t wait to style a few more pairs on the blog. I like this linen pair because it has a fitted band to accentuate the waist so you still get some shape amongst all the fabric. They also come in cream.

This is my favorite time of year. I love to make my home cozy, cook all my favorite foods, and be able to wear finally wear layers!
