Winter Florals

Two days before Christmas and putting the last minute touches around the house! My paper whites are about to bloom and I am listening to Nigel Slater’s Christmas Diaries as I create a few vases of some of my favorite wintery blooms :

pepper berries

paperwhites

Eucalyptus

variegated English holly 

western red cedar

A few floral tools that are my favorites are these scissors (they are absolute best for all household tasks!), garden pruners (for thick branches), and some various floral frogs (for arranging.) As for vases, I LOVE this elegant footed clear vase and I have this simple ceramic one which I use all the time.
