RECIPE | Brown Butter Apple Crisp

No doubt Fall has to be the best seasons for recipes and this Brown Butter Apple Crisp happens to be my most favorite. I love to use a mix of tart baking apples such as Braeburn, Honey Crisp, or the classic Granny Smith. As for the topping, I like to brown the butter which gives it a deeper toasty flavor when poured into the oat and brown sugar crumble topping, but if you don’t have the patience, just melt it. This recipe makes extra topping which is perfect to put in the freezer and use for the next time you have a crisp craving! Make sure to serve warm with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.
