Daily Rituals

I have really been into my skincare lately. If you have followed me for a bit, you may notice my affinity for natural products. Big retail stores are even getting the memo with Sephora launching their Clean Beauty program recently. It makes sense, who wants to put a load of chemicals and fragrances on their skin? These three products prove how powerful and effective natural products can be.

I have been intrigued by Tata Harper ever since she launched in 2013 ( I even write about her in 2013, here.) I appreciate how much care continues to go into these products. She is not trying to release whatever the latest trendy product is, she sticks to formulating beautiful products and has maintained those high standards years later.

The first step in my routine is the  Purifying Facial Cleanser.  I like to use it first thing in the morning, or as a second cleanse at night.  I like to work the gel-to-milk texture onto the skin, let it sit for 30 seconds and then rinse. While the purifying cleanser works as a pore minimizing daily wash, it isn't drying in the least. My skin feels that perfect combination of cleansed, but also plumped and happy.

My next step is the newly-released Tata Harper Resurfacing Serum,  a daily dose of glow. It is formulated with AHAS, BHAS, and antioxidants, which regenerates and exfoliates the skin.  I have been using this in the morning and at night. My skin feels  smoother, clear, and bright.

When I really want to bring out the exfoliating big guns, I have been  using the Goop Exfoliating Instant Facial.  I apply a quarter-sized amount on the skin, leave on for a few minutes, and rinse. You feel a tingling sensation and are left with baby soft skin. I like to use this a couple times a week or when I really want to rev up the skin.
