How to Style : Oversized Clothing

Oversized styles are everywhere right now and they are one of my favorite ways to add a cool and effortless element to a look. I always reference Isabel Marant, who is the mastermind behind oversized dressing: think pairing a belted trouser jean and an oversized sweater . The way to nail this style is all about the proportion.

Tailoring is important here. The waistband of the trousers needs to be snug to accentuate the waist. If you get the length right, it is very elongating. I also went for a cropped knit to break up all the fabric.

When it comes to fall shopping, timeless styles like blazers or trousers are good investments.
