Orange Picking at the Farm

Last week I got to spend my birthday picking oranges in the sunshine and it was the perfect day! Underwood Family Farms is located about 45 minutes outside of Los Angeles and it is a place I discovered this summer where you can pick your own fruits and vegetables. They also have a farmstand where you can stop and pick up produce that has already been harvested. This time of year it was interesting to see what is growing: kale, lettuces, beets, broccoli, cilantro, and lots of citruses! We picked oranges, grapefruit, and tangerines.

I can’t wait to come back and see what will be growing in Spring!
