As the weather gets warmer, I have been assessing my wardrobe: getting rid of things that no longer excite me, packing away heavy sweaters, and pulling out some old favorites.

If you have followed my blog for any amount of time you will have seen my love of all things Jenni Kayne. I have long admired her timeless and effortless aesthetic and I am so excited to announce that I was asked to be an ambassador this year!

The leaves in California have been exceptionally colorful and beautiful year, so we took a drive to Agoura Hills, about 30 minutes outside of Los Angeles where there are some scenic windy back roads.

Fall is my favorite season for fashion and it is finally cooling down a little around here making me more excited about getting dressed. My current uniform consists of a good sweater and a pair of denim. I don’t need new or trendy items, but timeless classics that will last more than one season.

September is here! Although with the 100 plus temperatures we have been having it hardly feels like it. This weekend was low key due to the heat, but I still managed to cook up a storm, go to the farmers market, and pick up some flowers
